We all experience difficulties. We all experience times that we feel unseen or unheard. No matter your lived experience, find empowerment and support in your unique healing journey through working with me.

Before beginning private practice in August 2019, I provided art therapy and counseling in a variety of settings. Working with children, adolescents, and adults in the school setting, an LGBTIQQA+ youth center, a domestic violence agency, an adoption support organization, and as part of a group private practice, I gained a great deal of experience centered around working with BIPOC youth, families, and communities.

All of these experiences have informed the way I practice and provide creative care today through heARTful remedies. When we engage in creativity, we are able to access more possibilities for change. Creativity allows us to use our whole Self to discover solutions we might not find as easily through a singular medium such as talking.

What is Important to Me…

Equity.

I believe that everyone should have access to quality therapeutic services and care. I’ve worked to take steps to make my practice equitable and accessible through different financial payment options and partnering with a variety of insurance carriers.

Allyship.

I am passionate about anti-racism practices and social justice concerns. I’m racial justice, queer, and trans allied, striving to challenge all forms of oppression personally and professionally. I’m white-bodied, queer, and gender queer. I take “doing my own work” seriously.

Practice.

Practicing what I teach is a priority for me. Some ways that I work to take care of myself are through making art (mixed media/textiles work), crocheting, personal therapy, daily meditation/mindfulness, walking, time in nature, and gardening.

Safety.

I aim to make my work through heARTful remedies a safer experience where everyone feels welcome and accepted as their true Self.

Self.

I fully believe the capacity to heal is already within you, and creative modalities are powerful tools to be utilized on your healing journey.

Sacred.

I consider it an honor to walk alongside each of my clients in their journey to wellness. I learn as much from my clients as they do from me.
